“I love playing with words.”
- I spent my early days in Vienna, Singapore and Johannesburg. South Africa was my second home for almost 20 years. While studying Communication Sciences at the University of South Africa I was active in sports promotions.
- With a degree in my pocket, I travelled to Germany to test the waters in Europe. I headed the Marketing & PR Management for an IBM partner-group of companies for one year.
- Back in South Africa, I was briefly involved in the automotive industry. I finetuned my journalistic writing skills in a number of special features for the local Topcar magazine.
- Increasingly, I became eager to support Austrian companies. In 1994, I joined the Austrian Business Circle in Southern Africa as a co-founder, and took care of PR and communication with various European business chambers. I wrote editorials for different chamber publications and became a member of the Public Relations Institute of South Africa. Later, I established liaisons with the South African Foreign Affairs Ministry and European embassies for a German consulting group.
- In 1999, I was back on home ground. Aviation was my passion while jetting around the globe. I became acquainted with even more markets and cultures, and developed profound skills in major airport privatisations. At conferences I often presented topical issues. I enjoyed writing market reports, and tailored srategic concepts, sales stories for business and consortium partners, contracts, image texts and corporate profiles, and put together international bids.
- 2007 marked the kick-off for ART-OF-WRITING as a logical step.
During my years of travelling a high degree of flexibility, intercultural understanding and creativity became my constant companions. Already a native speaker in both German and English, I increased my multi-lingual abilities and interest for other languages and cultures. My open-mindedness helped me in quickly grasping key issues in different kinds of industries.
With the experiences and know-how gained I now support German speaking companies in their strive for international success.
